The Wandel & Goltermann PD-1 is a framework analyzer for in service analysis of framed data signals from 140 Mbit/s to 64 kbit/s.

* Genuine bit error measurement with pseudo coincidence sequences and digital word at feeder signals 2048 kbit/s and n x 64 kbit/s.
* Graphic announcement of error frequencies and system alarms.
* Error performance analysis after CCITT Empf. G.821.
* Automatic processing of measuring sequences (e.g. SCAN modes of operation) programmable; inserted scanner (option) serves up to 8 monitor interfaces.
* Demultiplex exit of the lower in each case hierarchy.
* Codirektionaler 64-kbit/s-Ausgang after G.703.
* V.11-Ausgang for n x 64 kbit/s.
* Inserted loudspeaker for channel monitoring - Pegelmessung in the voice channel - analogue output.
