Power transmission shaft hub jaw couplings PT2
This is a hub 4 jaw coupling. It is used to connect motor via way of this coupling to the work load. This will be mounted on one end and its sister on the other and in the middle will be either a rubber or polyurethane spider flex bushing to reduce torque stress and vibration. The OD on it is 4 3/4" by 3 1/2" deep. Its shaft diameter is 2 3/16" and has a keyway cut the length of it at 1/2" wide. The coupling is split and has 2 allen sockets (size dont know) to tighten onto shaft. There are some #'s on this but no mfg name that I can find so it will be pretty tuff to trace them. There is a mfg date of 9/29/2000. There is some slight surface rust due to storage but will clean up easily and wont affect operation. Use this for any # of aplications,be creative and make some arts and crafts type of projects or use in the shop.
