You are looking at a New ("NOS" new old stock - new, but been in box for 20+ years) Westinghouse 1/20 hp 110v 115 v single phase REVERSIBLE electric motor with a base mount for bench mount or other applications.
New! Quiet, Fast & Strong - perfect for bench-mount Grinding / Polishing.
This motor has been boxed and unopened since early 80's. I just opened it to test it and for the photos that you see. Perfect condition with instructions for cw or ccw (reverse) wiring & maintenance.
Original application was for furnace forced hot air and ventilation. The information provided is mostly from the tags.
Shaft is 1.25", and another .75" for the bearing / oil portion protrusion (2" X 2") - so it should work requiring shaft clearance of up to 2".
4 3/4 wide by 6" front to back minus the 1 1/4" long 3/8" shaft.
Faster than most in its class: 1725 rpm. Typical speed for many grinding and buffing applications, or to replace that impossible to find fan / ventilation motor that needs replacement.
Rated for continuous operation for many many hours of use. This motor is strong and quiet.
You probably don't need the reversible feature - but lucky you if you do!
