* Spring-loaded safety shutter ejects plug if not properly locked into connector/receptacle; shutter snuffs out arcs when devices are connected or disconnected under load.
* Nylon plugs and connectors withstand impact and heavy abuse. Positive locking is ensured by nose of plug keying into a detent in mating device; lock independent of contacts or separate mechanical lock. Wire terminations are assured with box terminals equipped with pressure pads. Nylon versions have large, 2-piece cord grip that secures cable in place, reducing terminal strain. Internal neoprene grommets on nylon devices make cord end watertight. UL Listed unless otherwise noted.
