The MKS Type PDR-C-1B is a power supply and digital readout which is packaged in standard half-rack mounts unit. This unit is identical to the -2C except that it has been designed for operation with one pressure sensor. The power supply is capable of providing ± 15VDC at up to 600mA which si enough power for two MKS Baratrons, including 121, 122, 124, 127, 128, 221, 223, 224, 422, 427, 622, 623, 624, 625, 626, 627, 628, and 722. The unit contains one set point-operated, single pole relay which may be controlled by the pressure channel. Set point adjustment is accomplished by front panel COARSE and FINE controls which cover the entire range of the gauge in use. The relays’status is indicated by front panel lamps. “Failsafe†relay operation is standard, that is, the relays are not energized at pressures higher than the set point settings. The relays can be latched in the energized state by means of external logic line to the ear of the panel interface connector. The readout is a 4-1/2 place digital panel meter which indicates the output of the attached pressure sensor. Engineering units for the readout (mmHg, psi, kPa, mbar, inHg, in2O, cmH2O) can be selected by a front panel switch.
