I purchased this from a fellow in the Cleveland, Ohio area who was selling this for a friend whose grandfather owned it. I have photos of it when I first brought it home before I began restoring it. I broke it down and stripped it of grease and paint, down to the base metal - all but the bed. Nothing was sandblasted - just used Purple Power cleaner - no solvents or paint strippers were used in the process. I hand-painted with rustoleum grey and black.
I tried to accurately describe all aspects of this lathe. Any questions or comments are welcome. I think this was built in the 1920's.
