The very slight flow resistance of Strataflo Foot Valves greatly increases the efficiency of any shallow well or jet-type pumping unit.
Strataflo Foot Valves insure perfect operation of the pump and save many times their cost in service. They have a one-piece brass body. The unique strainer consists of a helical wound stainless steel spring wire which is durable and cannot corrode. This strainer is self-cleaning, because pump operation causes continuous motion of the spring coil. The taper-type silicone-treated poppets hold tight without seepage, yet open easily and operate noiselessly. They are tough, flexible rubber reinforced with a metal insert. There are no springs, low flow restriction and loss of head. Working pressure 200 lbs., maximum temperature 225 F.
All rubber poppets are now silicone-treated Buna-S rubber and are reinforced with a metal insert. Poppets open easily and will not stick.
