Since connectors regularly break and replacing the whole wire can be expensive, these connectors are essential for anybody who works with ethernet, radiocommunications, or amateur radio. TNC is especially beneficial for computers with low sophistication levels or for radio and amateur radio systems requiring high reliability.
These connectors are for use with RG58 Coax cable. In order to install them on your wire, you simply line up the parts of the coax cable to the pieces of the connector along with the, connect them, feed the wire through the connector, and crimp it all together.
