This sale is for a PARKER CTC industrial computer model PC10-2T2-WFA-BD2. This is actually a personal computer with a hard drive, CD rom, floppy drive compact flash reader, keyboard and mouse. The CMOS is settable to make this computer bootable from any drive including the compact flash drive. The computer is loaded with the WINDOWS 2000 operating system and all of the pass words have been blanked. The monitor is a TOUCH SCREEN and can be used in place of the mouse. This industrial computer is mounted in a very nice, heavy duty industrial cabinet. Since this computer was used as a HUMAN INTERFACE to a PLC, the back door must be opened to access the keyboard and mouse. There is a 24 vdc power supply that plugs into 110 vac for power for the computer.
The computer is loaded with RSLOGIX 500 rev. 7.00.00 and RSLINX rev. 2.2 with the drivers needed for connection on all of the SLC 500 and MICROLOGIX ports. The computer is also loaded with RSVIEW32 that we believe is the program that will turn the computer into the HMI (human interface to the PLC).
There are a few potential problems that we have found as follows. When the computer boots it first loads WINDOWS and then goes to a RSVIEW32 program and loads a HMI interface program. To get out of this and get back to WINDOWS you must use the TASK MANAGER to end the program. We were not able to find where this program loads on WINDOWS 2000 NT as it is not in the same place as other WINDOWS programs. We were not able to remove it from loading. The other problem is that the RSLINX driver for the 1747-PIC interface seemed to be having a port conflict. We could get RSWHO to find our SLC 500 for 5 or 10 seconds and then it would loose it for 5 or 10 seconds. We believe that there was a program still running in the background that was using the port, however we could not find it. Except for the problems listed in this paragraph we will guarantee that this computer is in good working condition.
This computer with touch screeen and cabinet is in very nice cosmetic condition.
