Steel and copper ball bearing

I found this in an old toolbox that I purchased at an estate sale yesterday. It seemed too substantial to ignore. It appears to be a ball bearing made of steel with a center removable cup. The center is lined with copper. The bearing is 14-inches in circumference and 1-1/4 inches thick. There are no identifying numbers except those etched into the metal, probably by the previous owner, who apparently had an enormous collection of tools. The readable numbers he etched are 8 A-1111-F-15. These numbers were hand-etched and have rust covering some of them, so they may be incomplete. A "B" within a square is also hand etched into the metal.
I hope someone can use this component.
