* 14 front panel LED indicators provide a visual indication of the operating status of the decoder.

* AUX port - communicates with a standard ASCII terminal using the RS-232 interface.
* HOST port - supports RS-232, RS-422, and RS-485 (using Allen-Bradley DH485 protocol) interfaces. The HOST port allows for the exchange of data between the decoder and a host computer or Allen-Bradley PLC controller.
* Discrete I/O Modules - the decoder supports an optional I/O Module Board with 8 positions for output modules. Position 8 also accepts an input module.
