This is an old, original Bell System/Western Electric terminal block. It has 22 terminals and features 22 solid brass terminal posts, each of which features two brass washers. The base is cast of a plastic/resin type material and has a number 31-B on it. On the side are 22 solder posts.
It measures 7 1/4 inches long by 1 1/2 inches wide and 1 inch tall. We don't know if it was ever used or for what kind of facility it was intended.
