GH R 412 0001 R1 Inverted AND gate (NAND gate)
Made by BBC Brown Boveri. It was sold under the Sigma-Tronic B system for Industrial controls.

The inverted AND gate (or NAND gate) contains 3 independent inverted AND functions, two of which have 2 inputs and one with 3 inputs. the output Q of one function gives a 1 signal, as soon as a 1-signal stands at all true inputs and a 0-signal at the inverted input. A 1-signal on the inverted input will block the output, and the output will then go to a 0-output.
i.e on the third 3 input gate 10 is on when 7 + 8 is 1 and 9=0, 10 is off if either 7 or 8 = 0 OR 9=1
Tech Data: Current consumption: 0-signal at output 5mA, 1-signal at output 27mA
The operating voltage for the sigma-Tronic system is 24v d.c. (with a tolerance of 30% i.e. 16.8v to 31.2v a ripple up to a peak amplitude of 4v is permissible)

These modules are also ideal for small DIY logic projects (such as model railway control or hydraulic control) as they do not require a programmer or software. Also the logic circuit can be added to as required.
