ONE (1) NEW 500-foot spool of new 20 AWG silver plated wire. New military wire. This is the M22759/43 build - the rugged and reliable standard used in all types of military and commercial-passenger aircraft. Made of 19 strands of silver coated oxygen-free copper. Each strand is coated with silver. Insulated with TWO high-performance Teflon/DuPont jackets. The mil-spec is printed on the jacket. This build of wire is expensive, very hard to find anywhere.

Outstanding audio wire. The silver coating improves on the excellent conductivity of oxygen-free electronic copper used in the wire. High frequency signals face less resistance on silver than on copper and travel with slightly more power. When used in speaker cables, with quality equipment, the energy is passed on to the tweeters giving a bump up for better clarity: the important overtones, harmonics, and edges; plus the almost instant sounds of drumhead hits, cymbol strikes, special effects, you know. The effect is real and sought-after in high-end audio.
Outstanding hookup wire. This wire is rated at 600 volts, -55 deg F to +392 deg F. It solders down beautifully. When secured to the pins, jacks, and lugs, the wire can last for decades in high-temperature environments. Thanks to the dual jackets, the wire can suvive some degree of abrasion...such as happens in the engine compartment of a moving vechile. The blue under-jacket is there to reveal any rub-through. The combination of pure copper and silver delivers the best pure signal possible.
Bundle 4 of these 20 AWG wires to get a 14 AWG equivalent. Bundle 10 of these wires and get a 10 AWG equivalent. Do that to make the best possible high-power, low crosstalk, low inductance, low capacitance speaker and power cables. Doing this also gets you more flexibility than a bulkier, thick 19 or 27 stranded wire. And its better looking. Please know that we do this because we want to to get the best result, not because we don't happen to have any thicker silver plated wire on hand (we have all the fat silver we need).
Your wire will arrive as a 500 foot flat steel spool, or a 500 foot tall plastic spool, depending on which box I have in stock. Exactly the same wire in both. All spools were loaded at the factory.
