•An 8 input Data Logger & Alarm panel, with audible alarm, acknowledge and test pushbuttons (note - upgrade to 16 input logger is available):
•As new Pollution Control Legislation is implemented it is an increasing requirement to continuously monitor and log industrial pollutants & emissions.
Guidance notes can specify both emission levels and alarm events must be continuously recorded and made available in an accessible format for inspection by the Environmental Agency and Local Authority.
R & B Industrial’s continuous recording system/Data Logger is a cost effective, versatile and easy to use solution:
The continuous recording system incorporates a compact flash data logger, capable of recording both emissions levels and alarm events. Data is compatible with Microsoft Excel to make transfer and viewing of results simple. The logger also comes complete with configurable windows trending software. Utilising a compact flash card as a storage medium allows the data logger to operate remotely from a PC or laptop with no hardwired cables •The data logger system features 8 separate inputs, configured, as standard for 4 emissions sensors; with 4 analogue inputs (4-20mA) and 4 digital (alarm) inputs. However, these can easily be configured to accept any combination of either analogue (with a 10 bit resolution), digital or pulse signals. - -•••The datalogger system comes as standard, supplied with a 512Mb compact flash card. This will provide approx 7 years storage capacity for 1 input sampling every 10s!! The system can be upgraded for compact flash cards up to a capacity of 2Gb, giving increased storage capability if required. Monthly log files can be configured if required. •A USB adaptor is supplied to easily transfer the data from the compact flash card to a PC. •An Audible Alarm and high intensity enunciator indicate an alarm event has occurred, for any ‘alarm’ input. The audible alarm can be acknowledged with the mute button. Individual sensors will need to be inspected to determine which caused the alarm condition. The audible alarm has a variable tone and intensity of 107db at ~ 1m •An additional output for a remote audible or visual alarm is also available The Enclosure is IP55 rated The data logger is compatible with a huge range of different sensor inputs, including; 0-10V, 4-20mA (ie pressure, ph, humidity), pulse (speed), temperature (thermocouple-various types), etc which makes it extremely versatile over a vast range of industrial monitoring, control & logging applications. Additional applications can include process control/loop tuning, process troubleshooting, production monitoring etc, etc. A 16 input data logger with remote access / interrogation (via modem), and 16bit A-D is also available.
