For sale one used ORIENTAL MOTOR VEXTA SC8800E PULSE GENERATOR
Please note that this is has been discontinued by Orential Motors. There is no replacement device. It is a very nice pulse generator controller for stepper motor driver control.
Unit came off a decomission working equipment. I have not tested it.
Pulse generator is connected between the computer (PLC) and Stepper Motor Driver and motor.
There are four programmable inputs and two programmable outputs to give the controller the ability to control other functions within the machine. All inputs and outputs are optically isolated.
Step and direction signal outputs are industry standard TTL level signals in either 1 pulse or 2 pulse modes so the SC8800E can be used with any industry standard stepping motor driver package.
Can be daisy chained for up to 35 axis. A config program runs on device power-up allowing for stand alone operation. Used with encoders for closed loop control.
