Butt weld clamps sheet metal welding easy to use design
These easy to use butt weld clamps are the perfect answer to your sheet metal repair needs. These clamps align your panels surface to surface and edge to edge leaving a small gap for excellent weld penetration. Unlike our competitor's clamps that leave a .040" gap which produces more heat and has a larger risk of "blow through" and panel warpage our clamps leave a more feasible gap of .035". Our clamps also include a unique feature that allows you to place the clamps on the top edge of your replacement panel and position and clamp it in place without reaching behind(refer to last 2 pictures). This also allows you to loosen the clamps and realign your panels and/or slide the clamps into different locations without the back clamp piece falling out like on our competitors. To remove the clamp simply loosen it and reach behind the panel and remove the rear clamping piece. These are much more user friendly than our competitor's and are made in the U.S.A.
